Autism Speaks Canada Fundraiser - August 1-11 - All Choices locations
One in sixty-eight children is diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), the fastest growing developmental disorder in the world. Help solve the puzzle by donating $1 during our fundraising campaign from August 1 -11 with 100% of the proceeds support Autism Speaks Canada. For a small $1 donation at our till, you can help support research towards understanding this rapidly growing developmental disability.
We will also be having charity BBQ's at all of our stores on August 9th from 11am - 3pm in support of Autism Speaks Canada.
Autism Speaks Canada (ASC) is dedicated to supporting all individuals and families impacted by autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Advocacy and awareness initiatives include supporting individuals regardless of age, including children, youth and adults, as well as those not directly involved in the autism community to promote the importance of building more inclusive practices and communities.
All of ASC's programs and grants focus on supporting various areas, including early identification and intervention to adult support services. In addition to our Family Service Grants Program, which supports a variety of community based programs across Canada, ASC also grants research and science projects across Canada and contributes to the advancement of global research. ASC also supports conferences and workshops to heighten awareness and knowledge for communities across Canada.
For more information on our research and family service grant programs, as well as other initiatives ASC is involved with, please visit our website at www.autismspeaks.ca.
