Join Chef Alana Peckham of (Alligga’s corporate chef and winner of Chopped Canada’s Takeout Edition) on February 20th at 6:00 pm for an in-store cooking seminar at the Choices store in Abbotsford. Before Alligga, flaxseed oil could never be heated. Now you learn how you can cook with North America’s first and only cook-able flaxseed oil to be able to incorporate this incredibly high source of omega 3’s into you and your family’s daily diet. You will learn the process, the health benefits, along with amazing recipes.

Chef Alana Peckham has 15 plus years of experience in the culinary industry and has led as the Executive Chef at the Hart House Restaurant on Deer Lake and at CRU Restaurant in Vancouver. She is currently a full-time instructor and co-owner of Northwest Culinary Academy of Vancouver where she enjoys teaching professional culinary programs as well as amateur foodie classes. Chef Alana represents Alligga as their Corporate Chef and with her experience managing professional kitchens and teaching at school she lends to them her ability to create recipes as well as educate consumers about their high smoke point flax seed oil. Chef Alana has been on local television and appears monthly on Health Wellness Lifestyle TV cooking with the Alligga Flaxseed Cooking Oil. Her most famous TV appearance was in 2015 when she won an episode of the Food Network Canada’s Chopped Canada Season 2 where she beat out 3 other contestants for the 10K dollar win!
