Jayelle Haavaldsen and Emma Sheehan are 4th year naturopathic medical students at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine. With their emphasis in women’s health, the duo will be talking about one of the most common health problems surrounding women today, Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS).  Jayelle Haavaldsen and Emma Sheehan are seeking to educate all women on  optimizing their health and addressing  their health concerns from the naturopathic lense. Due to our limited capacity, please register for the free talk.

About the presenters:

Jayelle Haavaldsen is a naturopathic medical student who will be graduating in December 2019. She is especially passionate about treating mental health, women’s health concerns and metabolic disease (e.g. diabetes). She has an undergraduate degree in Medical Biochemistry and is a self-described nerd who loves learning. When she isn’t deep in the books, you’ll find her gardening, playing soccer or frolicking in nature. 

Emma Sheehan is a naturopathic medical student who will be graduating in December 2019. She is especially interested in treating women’s health concerns, eating disorders and mental health. She earned her undergraduate degree from McGill University with a double major in Economics and Political Development while also being a competitive rower. Outside of the clinic, Emma is always striving to live life to the fullest by travelling, enjoying great food and company, and mastering her pitch and putt game
