For the fourth year in a row, Choices Markets has been named Fair Trade Retailer of the Year. In acknowledgement of our commitment to Fair Trade, Choices has decided to host a party for World Fair Trade Day – May 9 from 11:30 to 3:00 – at Choices Markets Yaletown. The City of Vancouver will be renewing their commitment as a Fair Trade city, and we thought to celebrate by offering up a giant Fair Trade fruit salad. Mangos, bananas and watermelons are just a few of the sweet treats we’ll be serving for free. Other fair trade vendors will be in attendance, sampling out chocolate, tea and coffee. We hope you’ll be able to attend the celebration.
As well, for the entire month of May we’ll be celebrating Fair Trade Month with rotating specials on Fair Trade products. Come into our stores and you’ll see huge displays of Fair Trade products and merchandise alongside great prices.
