Choices Markets has always worked to support sustainability in our stores. That’s why we’ve been a partner in the Vancouver Aquarium’s Ocean Wise program since its inception. When a seafood item has been Ocean Wise certified, you know that it has been harvested sustainably.
We are proud to announce, that as of May 11th, 2017, we have committed to becoming 100% Ocean Wise in our seafood department. We have begun phasing all non-Ocean Wise certified seafood out of our stores and hope to be fully certified as 100% Ocean Wise by June of this year. It’s just a small part of what we can do to help make sure that our oceans remain healthy for generations to come.
