Choices is proud to once again be supporting Movember Canada! We’ve had some incredibly successful campaigns in the past few years, raising money for men’s health initiatives by selling delicious moustache cookies.
Men’s health matters. The Movember Foundation is shedding light on seldom-discussed men’s mental and physical health issues through their notorious Movember Campaign this month. For instance, did you know that in 2011, men accounted for 75 percent of all suicides in Canada? Were you also aware that 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer? These are staggering stats. Luckily, the Movember Foundation is working to change all of this by generating funds that support men affected by prostate and testicular cancer as well as mental health.
For each $2 cookie sold, we donate $1 to Movember Canada. Last year we were able to raise $1700, and we hope to do even better this year.
