World Partnership Walk 2016

For more than a decade, Choices has been supporting the World Partnership Walk. This national fundraising event aims to eradicate extreme poverty in developing nations, where thousands do not have access to clean water, basic education and health care. These developing nations were once home to many Canadians who are now supporters of the Walk.

100% of donations raised through the Walk is invested in sustainable, long-term, community-led projects in the areas of health, education, civil society, and rural development led by the Aga Khan Foundation. It is a way to offer hope, a hand up, a know how and support to transform the lives of some of the world’s most vulnerable populations.

We will be hosting charity BBQ’s to support the Walk at the following times:

May 21: Choices Marine Way and Yaletown
May 28: Kitsilano, Cambie, Kerrisdale, Burnaby Crest, South Surrey, Abbotsford, Kelowna

Be sure to attend the Walk at Lumberman’s Arch in Stanley Park on May 29th at 10 am.
