Choices celebrates the Earth all year round with our commitment to sustainability. So when Earth Day comes around on April 22nd each year, we like to do a serious lead up! From April 16-22, we’ll be celebrating Earth Week. In store you’ll find sustainability focused products and brands highlighted on our shelves with eye-catching blue tags. When you see this tag, you know that the product has the planets best interests in mind.
We’ll also be featuring stories of sustainability from these brands on our twitter and facebook pages. We want our customers to know exactly why these companies are being featured, and tell you what they do to deserve such high praise from us!
We’ll also be posting some tips on food storage on our social media, to show people how to get the most out of their food. If you like these tips and are looking for more, we published our own sustainability guide called Becoming a Sustainabilist and it’s available at all Choices locations.
Finally, we’ll be sharing stories on four charity organizations doing excellent work on promoting sustainability in the lower mainland and the Okanagan. All the funds we raised for this campaign will be donated directly to these amazing and worthy organizations. Check out their websites to learn more about what they’re doing to protect our planet:
